Blaming regional parties like BSP, SP as also BJP for ignoring the issues of the people, AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has assured the people that Congress (I) will take their voice to Lucknow and have it heard there. These parties have been ignoring the people because their voice is neither reaching Lucknow nor their issues are being given any attention there, Rahul Gandhi said while addressing a public meeting in Bulandshahr on February 24 for the ongoing Assembly elections. As a result putting the people’s problem aside these parties have been bidding their time in government and leaving the field after five years to other party to repeat the same, he further said. Only suffer have been the people while these parties had fun at the cost of the people’s welfare. This has been going on for the last 22 years. While during this period other states under Congress (I) rule have progressed so much, UP under these parties has gone that much backward. Highlighting that progress and development is the right of the people, Rahul Gandhi has urged the people to give a chance to his party to form government this time. Then Congress (I) governments both at Lucknow and at the center will work together to fulfill their aspirations, he assured the audience.
