Rahul Gandhi: People possess more knowledge than politicians and officials

Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi who had led the Congress campaign in the state of Uttar Pradesh had explained that that he goes to villages and interacts with the people to realize the strength of the people.

"Let me learn all the tricks of politics, then see what I will do," said Rahul Gandhi. "The bureaucrats and present politicians do not know how to run the country. It's the people who run the country” added the Congress leader.

"When I returned from US and UK after completing my studies, I contacted senior politicians, bureaucrats and intellectuals to know poverty. Many paper presentation and sessions were held. But, no such efforts proved sufficient to explain the real sense of poverty as taught by a poor woman of a village to me when I visited her place," Rahul Gandhi told the crowd.
