MGNREGA will provide social security: Sonia Gandhi

Congress President and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi said that Mahatma Gandhi reiterated the success of MGNREGA implemented by the UPA Government. Sonia Gandhi said that NREGA has helped to generate new employment opportunities for the rural masses in the country. While addressing the MGNREGA Sammelan, she said the main idea behind the scheme is to remove the threat of unemployment. The important achievement of this policy is that the major beneficiaries are women said Sonia Gandhi. Sonia Gandhi hoped that the scheme will do wonders in the fields of small scale industries, health, road and infrastructure etc.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi said that the NTREGA will help to strengthen the field of agriculture. The NREGA scheme brought revolution the rural areas of the country and we need to strengthen it further said UPA chairperson and Congress President Sonia Gandhi. The empowerment of rural women is very much appreciated. Further with the help of Self Helping Scheme and NGOs the NREGA can be made stronger and effective said Sonia Gandhi.
