The man had sustained injury in a road accident near Maharajganj in Raebareli, and as the vehicle of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra passed the spot, she stopped her vehicle, and directed her securitymen to transport the injured man immediately to hospital. The injured man was lying on the road for 15 minutes, unattended. "Isey lekar jao yaar, Koi isey lekar jaao...Jaldi le kar jao", shouted Priyanka Gandhi at her security guards. The man was driving a motorbike when he was hit by a runaway Tata Magic vehicle.
