Congress (I) has lashed out at Mayawati government for breeding worst corruption in Uttar Pradesh. During BSP rule there have been so many corruption cases, scams scandals that people are waiting for Assembly elections in 2012 to throw out Mayawati government. Congress (I) has said Mayawati has institutionalized corruption in the state. According to one estimate total amount scams under Mayawati rule works out to Rs 2,54,000 crores which qualifies Mayawati to be top player in the field of scams. All contracts from liquor licences to road construction works have been given to preferred contractors. This has caused loss of Rs 10,000 crores to state revenue. In the name of building parks and statutes stones were purchased at exorbitant rate. Thus in the name of parks and statute public money amount to Rs 5,000 crore was pocketed by Mayawati, her ministers and legislator, said Congress (I).
